City of Deland MLK March for Unity

The City of Deland held the annual march for unity through the streets of downtown followed by a unity festival at Earl Brown Park. There were other events held over the weekend, an awards gala and banquet and a unity worship service.

This year’s theme was “Mission: Possible” as we continue Dr. King’s legacy of striving for civil rights, equality, unity and justice among ALL people regardless of race or ethnicity.
