Lauren London Returns to the Screen Alongside Michael B. Jordan in ‘Without Remorse’

We’re hearing more from Lauren London as she returns to the screen alongside Michael B. Jordan in the Amazon Prime movie, Without Remorse. Without Remorse is based on the Tom Clancy novel of the same name. Michael B. Jordan plays the famed John Kelly or Mr. Clark, and London plays his wife. Based on the trailer, Jordan’s character is seeking revenge for the death of her and their unborn child.

During press for the movie, London talked about shooting the film pre-pandemic, during the “toughest year” of her life, 2019. We haven’t seen too much from London since the death of her partner, Nipsey Hussle.

She says the loss of her partner made her ask questions. “Will I work again? Do I want to work? Is this where I still belong? Do I still hold space here? Should I?” It appears the answer to those questions is yes. She says Without Remorse was “the best way” to go back to work.

We also learned that we might have a chance London in more than just romantic comedies. “I think the blessing of this is that I’m in this film and now have a different appreciation for action and suspense.”

Earlier this year, the actress had to check fans and the gossip rags for reporting that she was pregnant. You can see London sporting a fake baby bump in the trailer for Without Remorse. (see tweet below)

Michael B. Jordan is also letting us in on the training he went through for Without Remorse and giving us some insight into what he’s like as a person.

His character, John Kelly is a military guy. Jordan had to get tactical, weapons, underwater, and hand-to-hand combat training for this role. However, he didn’t have to train for his reaction to something happening to a loved one. John Kelly is a natural fit for Jordan because he’s “very territorial” with his friends and family. He says being able to “go to the extreme in a movie is therapeutic.”
