The trailer has been released for the second installment of Shaft starring Samuel L. Jackson.
Richard Roundtree, the original Shaft, will also appear in the film. The 1971 "John Shaft" made an appearance in the 2000 version of the film as well.
This edition will be released this summer on June 14.
It features a fairly newcomer, Jessie Usher (Independence Day: Resurgence) who plays Shaft’s son.
Fan favorite, Regina Hall also stars in the movie as an old flame of Shaft and the mother of his child.
Based on the trailer it’s bringing the raw and the funny. “Right on...Can You Dig It?”
